She was there for him when he needed her.

Yes. And he's returned the favor for her as well.

I like seeing it in gifs and video.

Gosh, I love Tumblr! And thank you guys for introducing me to the wonderful world.

Btw, just finished watching Bracebridge Dinner. And, I forgot how much I love this episode. Sookie calling Jackson "Peaches" three times during the meeting.

Dean's jealousy at the end, I could do without.

Talula78 07-26-2020 07:57 AM

“Peaches” is such an appropriate term of endearment considering Jackson is her produce guy.:love:

Haha. Oh, my god, I didn't even make that connection.

So very true.

That’s a fun ep.

Talula78 07-27-2020 08:33 AM

It can also refer to a person’s backside so I guess it works either way.

:rotfl:

By the way, Paris' intensity is particularly classic in this episode where both she and Richard visit Stars Hollow. I miss reading the paper.

Oh, my gosh, the way she interrogates Luke about the "seediness" of his diner.

I feel like Dean will always be mad at Rory by osmosis, any time another boy looks her way. Just watched the basket bidding and the way Dean acts as if Rory is purposely hurting him, is just, I notice he doesn't like any guy in her life. I mean, they all kind of crowd and are creepy, which, okay, when did Rory become the unattainable, mousy Bella, that somehow everyone wants? Like Jess bidding on the basket was ridiculous, but Dean's reaction was worse.

But, Jackson wants to move in with Sookie, so that's sweet.

OMG I forgot about the whole Paris and Richard in Stars Hollow bit. Which episode was that in again?

Lindsay 07-28-2020 06:58 PM

It's funny that Emily pawned Richard off on Lorelai. She was getting tired of him.

I just answered my own question and laughed reading the synopsis of the episode.

Richard visits Stars Hollow, and drives Lorelai and Rory crazy by passing judgment on every aspect of their lives.

valleygirlsyndrome 07-29-2020 12:22 PM

Haha. I do that too much.

Is it me or was the repeated use of the "burn down the house" joke, regarding Rory ordering Indian food, kind of in poor taste? I feel like it goes along that stereotype that all Indians smell like curry, or something. We use soap.

Sorry, I accidentally double-posted. Now, I can't figure out how to delete one post. :(
