Me too! I got started way back when I started writing Trory fic. Had to be 2003-2004. I've been rereading all sorts of goodies (excluding mine from that group since I tend to hate everything I write) and my heart literally can't take how perfect Trory is.

I do think that I'll be writing/posting something soon after I finish my last week of school soooo....

I hear you! I'll be very honest, I didn't watch hardly any of Season 7. Like at all. I only watched some compilations of Luke/Lorelai to see how it ended. But Rory I haven't been able to stand since maybe Season 3. :nono:

I so wish I hadn't lost my old Trory vids. I lost all of my Gilmore Girls videos once my harddrive died a year ago. Still breaks my heart. Had so much fanart/pictures saved there too from different fandoms.

Only found 2 that I had luckily saved on Mediafire for some reason. It's so bad it's funny but I get nostalgic when I watch.

Oh and Need to Know apparently had no Trory in it. Don't ask me why! It only has Dean, Jess, Logan and Marty. Just rewatched and noticed that. I myself haven't even seen these in years.

I'm excited to delve in! I even made a YT playlist of all the Trory scenes I can find. The ending of "Run Away, Little Boy" never fails to make me tingle. She obviously wanted that kiss from Tristan or else she would've said otherwise.

Honestly Chad/Alexis had a chemistry that just couldn't be duplicated. And I say this as a multishipper of Rory over the years. Though I loved Trory in a way that only Rory/Logan came even close. Now? I just see the Rory she became as somebody who Logan was better without, hence only my Trory love remains.

I really wanted to like Rory/Logan as end-game, since it mostly felt like the payoff we never got with Trory. It makes everything so bittersweet but it also makes me excited all over again because we can keep the love alive here.

Yeah well, given that that the show ended with Rory as single, it did give more of a "happy" ending for all those who didn't like her with Logan. But I at that point just felt so bad for my Logan. After Tristan, I loved Logan so much.

I'm one of the few who didn't see them as identical. I loved Tristan for Tristan and Logan for being Logan. Yes, they had similarities but ultimately Matt and Chad are just so different actors and it showed in the personalities of the characters they played.

Yeah there definitely wasn't a carbon copy situation going on, which I'm thankful for. Logan was a very likable character on his own merits. I think it was the echoes of Tristan that I appreciated so much, since he was our first (and best) blond "bad boy" who really had the biggest heart out of anyone.

I lurked for maybe a year before I got the courage to post here 10 years ago. I was in awe of the Trory writers who posted here. I was nervous about joining in.

I have the DVDs, so my husband and I watch every summer. I'm permanently in this state. I still love Tristan though, and I like to write. So I had to fire Rory as a heroine. Creatively, it's been helpful; but I'm sure it won't be popular when I get around to posting something.

For anyone who doesn't know, there are links on the OP that go to fanfiction and videos and as many of the old banners from past threads that I could track down. We put it all at an LJ (because I am not tech savvy enough to create an actual website) rather than have a ton of stuff on the OP, and to have it all in the same place where people can still find it.

The list of fic sites that have Trory stories has the Piano Suite from Pride and Prejudice, and the Summer Fic Exchange; and the site at the bottom of the list is the only place where Surya's stores are still posted (including The More Things Change).
