Yep. That’s our Luke. See the great thing about Luke is he has so many aspects that make him a great guy. It’s not just his deep love and adoration for Lorelai, but his devotion and protection of Rory, Jess, and April. He might be grumpy about things (which we all love) but he always comes through for people! Just think back to how he left to help TJ and Liz after their accident. He FINALLY got the girl of his dreams…so that was very selfless of him to do that. He’s also like a big brother to Kirk in a lot of ways even though Kirk is annoying as heck haha

Luke is just so selfless and will always put others before himself. He was there for Rory and Jess when their fathers were not and once he had April, he became the best dad to her.

I love that too. And there’s an interview where Scott said that Rory is the apple of Luke’s eye and he helped in raising her
