My absolute favourite thing about Paul Anka, is Luke's relationship with him. He acts like he hates dogs, but then he's the one who cooks his burgers and steaks to his exact liking, even blows on his steak to cool it down. The way he took care of him when he ate the cooking chocolate. It's just so damn sweet.

PA must have hated that period when Chris was living at Lorelai's. I can just imagine him being so excited when Luke came back.

I do love that Luke did care for Paul Anka. It was sweet. And yes, he definitely missed Luke.

I never really paid any attention to what PA was doing in the background but now that's all I'll fixate on when I re-watch the series.

Same. Especially in scenes that have Chris in them because I really don't want to focus on him. So watching what PA is up to is much more interesting.

I think my favourite PA moment is when Lorelai has dressed up as Luke.... and in a blue flannel. It's adorable and perfect.
