I really should watch Ocean's 8 considering how massive a Cate Blanchett fan I am. I've read mixed reviews so I'm not expecting too much. I do like that crazy power cast, though.

I've been watching Mom from the beginning on Hulu. I would catch re-runs here and there and it made me laugh. So I thought I should catch up with the series.

I'm halfway through S2.

It was one of my favorite movies of 2018, possibly in my top 3. The whole cast brought their A-game. Great story too. Better than the first 3 imo. I've learned not to listen to reviews anymore, I disagree with them so often

That's good to know! Yeah, I'm still gonna watch it. My parents recorded it for me on our DVR so maybe Sunday or my next day off if I have the time.

I really like the cinematography of New York, the music, and Midge and Susie as characters so far

Yeah, Joel sucks. The music is on point throughout, that's honestly half of my enjoyment of the series. They do an excellent job at conveying the period and feel of NYC back then. I'm anxious to hear your thoughts as you get a little further in. And also, make it your next mission after TMMM to watch Bunheads, it's SO GOOD!!!

I agree about the feel of NYC during that time period

and Susie is totally the female version of Luke

I might especially b/c Liza and Kelly are on that show. We'll see.

Haha, yes, Susie is grumpy just like Luke. She’s what makes the show great IMO & I could simply watch a one woman show with her. I’m so thrilled Zac won a SAG award for his role in TMMM!!

And yes, Kelly and Liza are both wonderful in Bunheads but Sutton was a real revelation for me & now I’m a huge fan of hers. I’d KILL to see both Lauren Graham and Sutton Foster in TMMM playing sisters or singers or something.
