Yes! I hated that, too.

Those episodes were very difficult to watch.

This vid includes the moment I was talking about in the Lorelai/Emily thread but the Lorelai/Rory dialogue was great so I had bought I’d post it here.

Watched 4x02 randomly two days ago. It remains one of my personal favorites (Jos' aswell). It perfectly displays the relationship Rory and Lorelai share. Plus the running gag about the matrass always makes me laugh out loud

Makes me bawl every time. I think I've read somewhere that it only took them 1 take, simply because they didn't even have to act, you know? They were just being Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel in that scene. Makes it even more powerful for me.
