honestly for me if we’re talking about just season 2 episodes I’m really split between A-Tisket, A-Tasket and Lorelai’s Graduation Day for top Literati episode

but I usually give the slight edge to Lorelai’s Graduation Day for the goodbye scene for reasons I’ve said in the past

So there was very fascinating discussion on Scott Patterson’s chat with the actress that played Shane on his podcast. She tells the story that Milo would let her hang out in his fancy trailer and he would sit outside reading a book (how Jess like). On one occasion Alexis dropped by to chat to him and afterwards Milo commented to faux Shane that she never comes by like that. Life imitating art! Faux Shane then says she commented to a security guard that she thinks Milo and Alexis will get together but security guard didn’t agree.

When faux Shane next saw the security guard at the 100th episode party she came up and said well you called it…they are together. Scott said the younger girls were pretty much vying for him from day one…especially Liza Weil.

I was under the impression that Milo and Alexis became close friends from day one and hung out from early on…but maybe not. It must have taken Milo to invite her to the Foo Fighters concert for anything to start happening.

I just used faux Shane as I couldn’t remember the actresses name…which is actually Jess so that would have made the explanation even more confusing .

She also said that Milo was the one that chose her out of the final girls picked for the part. I think if she wasn’t married at the time she would have totally made a play for him too lol.

I always felt that Milo did the chasing…however now I feel like Alexis was the one that went after him. And sadly I will never know how it all went down.

Such a curse being nosey .

Still banging on about the Milo and Alexis thing…I have seen people comment previously that the chemistry between them is so great in their first real kiss scene in Let the Games Begin because they were dating IRL. But now we know they weren’t together yet at all. If they went to the concert in December 2002 as reported, that episode was released in November. The first episode they were dating would have been That’ll do Pig which aired in January, in which we got the excellent snow kissing scene .
