I loved their friendship. I always wished that Lane had been given a storyline that didn't relegate her to staying in town and not going to college, etc. She watched Rory go to Chilton, go to Yale, and then live the college experience. She pretty much lived the bohemian lifestyle, got married, had kids in five minutes, and that was it. Just felt Lane was cheated. Would love to have seen Lane in the dorm with Rory and Paris

I didn’t mind seeing Lane lead a bohemian lifestyle although I agree with you that it would’ve been interesting to see them all in an apartment or dorm together. Lane is just so different from Paris, I think that would cause a lot of friction.
