It’s sunny here but still cold.

^Where are you again?

We’re getting another round of storms tonight. :( Hopefully they won’t spawn too many tornadoes as my town is still recovering from the last ones.

Yes, it's Ohio. It sometimes snows in May. You shush.

Talula78 03-30-2022 05:46 AM

 I’m getting my punishment for saying that, it’s currently raining and dreary and the crazy wind kept me up all night last night!

Lindsay 03-31-2022 05:42 PM

Well, there you go.

That state up north. ;)

Talula78 04-03-2022 07:10 AM

It’s so wild to me thinking some are getting snow right now when it’s super warm (80s) down here. It’s swimming weather.

Haha yes, although I live in the lower part, in the mitten part. I do go up further north by the beach every summer though.

Talula78 04-05-2022 04:46 AM

Isn’t it true that y’all can only swim in August because the water is usually too cold most of the year?

msstock87 04-07-2022 09:19 PM

Nope, that’s not true. Certain lakes like Lake Superior are super cold no matter what time of year, but others are perfectly warm. We usually go on a beach vacation in July.

Talula78 04-08-2022 05:27 AM

 That’s interesting. I visited my friends in Wisconsin in July and I put my hand into Lake Michigan for 5 seconds before it FROZE! But that was over 25 years ago so the lake may have warmed a bit since then.

msstock87 04-09-2022 03:26 PM

I have been going to Lake Michigan every summer since I was a kid and have always swam in it and it was warm. Wisconsin is farther North so maybe it was colder there. Lake Superior on the other hand is always cold. Cool lake though.

Talula78 04-10-2022 06:21 AM

That’s amazing. I wish the beaches in Texas were nicer, too many refineries and oil rigs covering the ocean down there.
