Pumpkin carving is so messy I haven’t done it in years but I always loved doing it as a kid. We’d also put little pumpkin and ghost decals and decorations in our windows. Those were the days. My mother would also roast and salt the pumpkin seeds, those were sooooo good.

I hope so, Jen. Looked it up and Halloween season there starts September 28, when we leave, so fingers crossed they've got decorations up earlier..

I love pumpkin pie and some of the other pumpkin pastries but that's about it. I think they have gone overboard with all the stuff they put pumpkin spice in.

Used to love carving pumpkins but it's too much work for me now. My youngest daughter has been carving them for me but doesn't want to do it anymore. We've bought a couple of big ceramic ones for this year and will probably buy a few more.

I'll really miss not being able to make roasted pumpkin seeds.

Halloween is more American it has not been big over seas in Australia.

I’ve never been to Disneyland during Halloween

for me the biggest thing about Halloween for me when I was a kid was dressing up, trick-or-treating, and all that candy

now I give out the candy

Same although it is not a thing here however one year we did get a few kids and had no candy just a few muesli bars

yeah roasted them a few times here as well

also like seeing Halloween decorations at people’s houses

there’s one neighborhood in my city where they really deck it out (also for Christmas)

used to go trick-or-treating there every year as a kid
