Oh, god, just saw that bear video. It would be amazing to see one up close (we were really sad we didn't see them when we visited Yosemite in 2014), but THAT close? I know what a bear is capable of. That family was really, really lucky. I'd be terrified.

Mine's been ok. I had to work on Friday and Saturday, but I have today off. Hope yours has been good.

Ugh, had to visit the vet this morning. Think I mentioned before that one of our cats throws up a lot (twice per week - with the result of him feeling down the entire day, including problems at the toilet, etc). Got even worse lately. Throwing up blood and even blood in the litter box. Called the vet instantly and he had a slot for us one hour later. He gave us some antibiotics. The vet thinks that he has some sort of parasite, or infection in his stomach/bowls, so if that's the case the medicine should help. Also gave us some pasta that he should lick once a day to make sure his hairballs don't get too big. If it turns out that neither of those things work he thinks it's the food. :look: Really hope he will feel better soon. We're animal persons....seeing him like this sucks. It's not like you can tell him what's wrong, you know?

I hope one of those solutions helps, Ingmar. Poor kitty.

:wave: Hi y'all! I'm back from vacation & have to rush off to work but I wanted to pop in real quick and say hi and that I'm glad to be back. I missed everybody! I had absolutely NO signal whatsoever, which was kinda nice, but also kinda frustrating. Hope y'all had a nice week. I just read your post about your kitty, Ingmar, I'm so sorry the poor little guy is so ill. :( I'm glad you got in touch with the vet so quickly, I hope your kitty will recover soon! I'm an animal person, too, so I know what you're going through. :hug:

Kitty is still doing....weird. The blood seems gone, so that's a good thing, but he still throws up every day. But then again...right after doing it he continues playing, or eating. He seems very healthy (according to the vet aswell), so it's a mystery. One option is that it's just part of him, something chronic. That would be so sad for him. We still have some things to try out, so guess we'll see.

I'm sorry to hear that your kitty is still having issues, sometimes it's a matter of trying out a myriad of things to find out what works best for the little furrballs. I'd start first with switching the food, that's the easiest and cheapest solution. ;)

Ugh, summer has arrrived in Austin this week, it's getting up into the 90s already, blech! :(

Woohoo! Our team placed 5th out of 52 teams! :woot: It's been a great festival so far, I even got to hug Cynthia Geary (Northern Exposure), she was SO nice! Not to mention that that show is one of my favorites of all time, it was the icing on the cake to watch an episode and attend a Q&A with the writers/actors/producer! :sigh::love:
