I'm happy to report that all of the Paris/Rory fan art is finished, with a solo Paris image still coming. To say that I'm excited to post it tomorrow would be an understatement. I really have to give credit to the three amazing artists who made all of this happen.

The Paris/Rory site is updated with eight new drawings. Each of these are scenes from fanfics.

Basically, I had to place these images in just the right spots within the stories, which was more fun than I expected. It's all part of an effort to get more people reading the tales and giving authors feedback. Anyway, the illustrated fanfics are:

I should offer some public feedback on the art, so here goes.







Friends to lovers.

Since the TV series never really explored a romance, which was unfortunate IMO, I think it's nice to see so many authors doing that. I thought that the artists did a great job illustrating these kisses.





Scenes from A Little Satisfaction, in which Rory harbors a secret crush on Paris.

When I saw this art, I told the illustrator that I could really feel the friendship, the affection, and the hidden longing within these scenes.



This is from Sleepover, and it ranks as one of my all-time favorite Rory/Paris moments. Basically, it's about two friends who are taken by surprise when an attraction flares up between them.

I was actually referring to the new scenes in the art, but I agree. I liked those moments too.

I thought it was pretty cute. They don't really chat much during that scene in the story, so it makes me wonder what they might talk about if that happened in the show.
