And about the "soul lobster" tweet. Liz later explained that she ordered lobster and Emma told her she couldn't order the twin lobster because because lobsters have soulmates, but shiri ordered the lobster too...

So does that mean they're lobster soulmates? :lol:

They really do! Liz is part of the reason Shiri agreed to taking the role of Cate, too. I watched the IBGinc conversation series video and Shiri honestly felt like she couldn't do LUX. She had gone into auditions with tight horse riding pants and a white button up. They all liked her but told Liz (as the executive producer) to let Shiri know they liked her but they didn't like what she was wearing; they wanted someone who would dress sexier. :goof: Well Liz confessed that it was one of the first things they asked her to do as a producer and she felt like crap for it because here she is wearing "a sack" (as she called it) and telling an actress they have to be sexier. But it made Shiri feel uncomfortable and like maybe LUX wasn't the show for her but after a while she got talked into doing the role by her dad and some more talking with Liz. SO glad she did it because I love hearing how close Shiri became even with her boss. Imagine not seeing Shiri for who knows how much longer :eek:

I hope they tweet about hanging out with each other :D

OH! And I believe Shiri an Liz will be live tweeting during the finale on Tuesday. Everyone should stop by to get in some questions or just say hi to them :)

I don't get it. What's the big deal about asking an actress to dress sexier?? Its not like she was asking Shiri to do a nude scene, its network TV!! And why would Shiri have a problem with it?? She's worn some pretty sexy things on her own so what's the problem with doing it in front of a camera? Anybody watch Six Degrees?

I think it was because the show was supposed to be a family show and Liz really really wanted Shiri on the show so she probably didn't want to be telling her how to dress when she thought she looked fine.

BBBoBBB, I didn't quite understand either. But like Nat said, Shiri was auditioning for a motherly role and it's kind of a slap in the face when they come out and say "Well your acting is nice but we don't like the way you look" when the description of her outfit sounds like she was dressed tastefully for an audition and as a lady, period. :shrug: Shiri also mentioned that she was just full out nervous that she couldn't do another full series since Roswell. Maybe its just a bunch of factors that started to catch up to her - playing a motherly role when she knew nothing about being a mother, being told that they didn't like the way she dresses, nerves, etc. I don't really know :shrug:

I think it has mostly to do with Shiri thinking the show would be something more family oriented and less raunchy (assuming that she wanted something more simple as a role) and then being told to be sexier. It's kind of like - "I don't get it? This show doesn't seem to be about sexiness. What am I auditioning for again?" Who knows :shrug: I just got to hear that from Shiri during the interview.

I guess I just can't understand, maybe it was nerves that made her upset about the wardrobe thing.

The concept of the show was a 30 something single woman has to learn to be a mother. It wasn't that Shiri would be playing June Cleaver from the get/go.

It could be :shrug: The thing she said was that all that kept going through her head right after that was "Maybe this isn't the show for me?"

Every time I remember all those rumours about the cast and producers' of Roswell not getting along, I'm so thankful for this LUX's group.
They certainly were the best part of this experience.

The Roswell cast/BtS stuff was bad? I never knew that!
