I guess this would be a good thread for a couple of Jewish follow up questions.

1) Does anybody know if Steve is Jewish? Not that it matters but Shiri has always mentioned that she was very religious so I was just a little curious.

2) I was also wondering if Shiri had a Bat Mitzvah? I can just picture thirteen year old Shiri in her party dress. Oh so cute.

I have read somewhere that she was a very religious person plus the fact she has a rabbi for a grandfather.
And she visits her relatives Israel with her mother before. So I guess she's more in touch with her roots than most of her celebrity jewish peers.

Shiri eats Sushi, is that Kosher?I think raw fish would not be. its certainly not vegetarian either.

I think she only eat the fish kind of Sushi. Fish is cinsidered kosher is it not. I read that they serve gefilte fish during sabat . I don't think there's a difference between a sugared fish and a raw fish. as long as they're both kosherly prepared.

i'm amazed at how many replies this got...

i think fish is the only acceptable sea food according to kosher rules or whatever they're called.

so several people, on this thread and others, have said things to th effct of "she always says she's very religious", but i've never read that in any of the interviews i've read of hers or anything, so i was wondering if someone could please give me a link or something to an interview when she mentions this (cuz i don't want to miss out on any of her interviews, and obviously i have)
