Hmm topic... What about...What would you feel like if you were put in the postion of Liz being told by Max that was leaving in 'Departure'? What would you do? ( Excluding throwing Max doing on the lab table and having ur way with him then killing tess urself )

Hows that, cuz i was just watched Departure and the four eppy before it thinking i'd be a crying mess if my soulmate was telling me he was sleeping with someone else, got her pregnant and then said he was leaving and may never come back.
I'D SURELY DIED!!

But Liz is just like a sponge, soaks it all up and never really breaks down crying. What a trooper.

Nope, she just went and played tonsil hockey with Sean. Good thing she wasn't stupid like Max, and actually slept with Sean like he did with Tess because he was in emotional pain.

But hasn't anyone else notice that Liz doesn't break down at all. Like Alex's death, Max leaving and sleeping with Tess... Max's Death

geez....but then again she goes into denial, shock and actually turned to alcohol.

I fully blame that on the writers and directors. They made her into a carpet and as you know, carpets get walked on and don't feel any pain, atleast none that they show. So I guess a person shouldn't either.

I wonder what was worse? Being wallpaper or being a carpet? Poor Shiri.

If I were Liz and my so called soulmate did the nasties with someone other than me and now has a bun in the oven and has the nerve to confess his cheatingways . I would say I'll bitchslapped the so called soulmate and kick his still blueballs
Gosh I have the right to freakout. after all what I did to him. I jump off bridges for him , broke laws for him and saved myself for only for him to turn into a gerbil funrider. I deserve better than that. But sadly I am not Liz. One thing I really admire about the great Liz Parker is her well poised and well mannered demeanor even when she's being faced with this heartbreaking , humiliating earthshatering and heartbreaking moments. Her strength is what made me love Liz Parker so much. Indeed she was truly the rightfull Queen and noone else.

Oh yeah i loved that about liz, her strength is amazing.

i'd love to be able to keep such a poised features when i'm dealing with heartbreak.

She has a gentle strength about her that I love. She's not a out front bad ass but she has a great amount of strength inside her that you don't expect, coming from someone so sweet, selfless and tiny.

You guys have some good points!

She did have this amazing strength! She fought for what she believed in even though at one time, he had to go "release" some tension. I loved how she wasn't afraid to speak up and I loved how realistic she was. And she was so smart.

There are times that I hated how all the girls on the show gt to wear these outfits that showed lots of skin and made them sexier but not Shiri! Always in jeans and swearters but, int he end...she still got the hottest guy who was completely in love with her even she didn't have to show as ass load of cleavage and clothes that she had to pour herself in them! She was real! And i loved her for it!
