Oooo this is interesting. I can't wait to see the first episode now. I'm wondering how they switch it up. Maybe they start from the beginning beginning with Aang finding out he's the avatar and running away rather than that coming out in a flashback like in the show.

The teaser trailer makes me think it's possible they could start from the genocide of the Air Nation

but it's understandable that they'll need to frame the story a bit differently

Not sure if this was posted here already, but there will be an animated avatar sequel movie coming out in 2025. A sequel to the original show, giving us gown up Aang, Katara, Zuko, Sokka & co.

I remember when this got announced but I keep forgetting about it since the Netflix series is coming so much sooner!

I am excited about this though. I'll be really fun to see the Gaang a little more grown up.
