And no spoilers for the Search but from what I remember she's not in a great place there either Though they do start working together a bit more. Will not comment on how that goes

Man it's really tough to see Zuko's family in The Search. In the beginning Azula is in a straight jacket talking to Ozai who is behind bars. The dynamics are wild

Yeah the drawings of her in a straightjacket are pretty sad and a little scary. The artist did a great job with them!

Yeah that is not a good family dynamic at all. Zuko's doing the best of them but he's also having an existential crisis soooo

The eeriness of her mental state was captured perfectly

The every day struggles of Zuko I am now 100 pages in! And the way Ozai talks to Zuko and Azula Now that he believes Zuko is not his son he is EXTRA nasty to him while giving extra praise to Azula...which helps to fuel her derangements. Father of the year. On a lighter note it was cute to hear that as children Zuko and Azula would reenact scenes from plays acted out by the Ember Island Players

Yeah Ozai really was a terrible father. I think believing that Zuko isn't his son definitely made him act worse toward poor Zuko. Even before that particular flashback I was thinking that probably contributed to it.

It was cute to hear that they sometimes had good moments together

It seems he knew darn well Zuko was always his son, but he treated him like crap just out of spite for Ursa lying about in a letter. Truly the pettiest of men.

I feel for Azula. Zuko got some closure with his mother at the end, but she didn't.

He seemed to know that going through Zuko was an effective way to hurt Ursa as well unfortunately.

Yeah I felt a bit bad she seemed left out of the all the good moments Zuko and Ursa had once he learned the truth.

I don't know if it would have been much better if she stayed. I think her mommy issues are far too big for one conversation....or several conversations
