I've watched a bit of it and I have to say it's really good as a standalone thing or a tribute to the original, but not so much in terms of being faithful to the original. If you watch it and try to disconnect your thoughts from the original it's really easy to enjoy if that makes sense...

Thinking so too. I stopped watching after episode 4 when i heard they cancelled the show, but I'm finally continuing now with episode 5. I guess i should finish this one season they made after all.

I also had other things i was watching plus i was disappointed that it probably ends on a cliffhanger since it was meant to have two seasons.

it wasn't a big cliffhanger.

i agree with Ticbow1998. live-action Cowboy Bebop was enjoyable when we stop comparing it to the epic anime. simply appreciate to be submerge in the Cowboy Bebop universe in live-action. i'm still they made it even if it was just one season.
