Even though I loved Shules more, I had a soft spot for shawn & Abigail. It helps that I find rachel leigh cook delightful plus she & Roday Rodriguez had good chemistry (honestly I'm struggling to think of 1 woman he didn't have chemistry with. He's that good).

I'm glad this show avoided many of the usual love triangle tropes.
-They didn't turn her into a jerk to make a breakup easier.
-they didn't have shawn breakup with her just for jules.
-they broke up on good terms.

But I also liked that they broke up for a legitimate reason, she just wasn't cut out to be the significant other to an agent of the police who is targeted by psychopaths.
Not a knock against her, loving someone & living with them are different things.
It also highlighted why jules was perfect for shawn. They share similar goals in life, and is already used to this life even when it hits her hard like in Mr. Yin presents.
It also showed juliet that shawn was capable of a long term relationship beyond just casual flirting/single dates/one night stands.

I also liked that when it mattered most shawn showed up at the pier when it mattered the most to her.

Even though it wasn't necessary. I wouldn't have been opposed to her making a return appearance to see what she's been up to.

I really did like Abigail. Her only flaw was that she wasn’t Juliet!

I wouldn’t mind seeing her appear again in the future, in one of the movies, with her husband and 2-3 kids. It’d be nice to see where she ended up!
