Calls for rain but so far no drops. Tucker got his walk which made him so happy. After losing Abby, I think we're all being a bit more clinging with him. (Today is also Spoil Your Dog day btw.)

it rained here for like 30 seconds kinda hard. but we are suppose to get more later today.

I didnt realize today was spoil your dog day. that is pretty much everyday here

Ended up not getting any rain.

Same here. But Tucker got a few bits of Ravioli at dinner.

And last night we got the bad news that our neighbor had to put her older dog to sleep yesterday.

RIP Chrissy! We loved you like family (Tucker liked her better than her sister dog.)

we got the 30 seconds of rain in the morning yesterday but never got the rain in the evening that they called for.

im sure Tucker liked his Ravioli for dinner

Tucker's a very picky eater but it's nice to be able to give him a few bits of something good like that.

We have a new neighbor up the hill who has a dog but she's scared of Tucker. (he just stands there looking at her and she tries to hide behind her human.)

my dog doesnt really like other dogs. my sister brings her 3 dogs down to play with him but he just hides behind the pillows on the sofa or goes hides in one of the bedrooms to get away from them.

Yeah. Cats tend to hide or move away from some dogs as well. My nephew's German Shepherd will bark at any animal he sees typically, including our cat. It can be quite frustrating. Thankfully he barks also at mice outside. How has the heat been for you today?

I guess my Tucker's a weirdo

He wants to be friends with everyone he sees. A neighbor who died had a cat he adored. He barks when someone walks downs the street and he sees them from his chair by the window. And when he sees the deer in the woods behind our house. Thankfully he can't actually go after them.

Even hotter here today!

So of course I woke up with a headache and some side pain.

it so freaking hot outside today. I had to help my mom deliver some flyers for the neighborhood association and I didnt have to walk very far but still in this heat it was killer. I was in such a sweat by the time I returned I had to take a shower to cool off.

There are some places on the East Cosat where it is not hot out today, such as Boston. Here it currently 37 degrees Celsius/99 degrees Fahrenheit.

yeah it was 95F here today. and its going to be about 90 the rest of the week it looks like.

Today might be our coolest day due to clouds and calling for rain. And it's still gonna be pretty warm out. SO thankful for AC and fans! All this heat makes me wonder what the Winter will be like!

Slept terribly. Was wide awake at 1AM.

I actually slept pretty good up till about 6am then I was just kinda restless the rest of the morning.

today is another hot day. they said we might get some rain later today but we shall see.

I slept better as well.

We got a randomly 5 minutes of rain in the afternoon. The rest of the day was sunny and hot. Today is hot and cloudy so far.
