Hopefully the pup that you're watching is at least potty trained. Ours isn't yet. This 1 barely I think knows how to walk up stairs.

he isnt

he is a puppy just left his mother last week so he is all confused right now. my sister got him as a bday present for her youngest daughter. only both her kids are going to be starting back at school full time next week and my sister and her husband both work full time so guess who is puppy sitting 5 days a week while they are away

(at least for the next month till school lets out)

the dog doesnt like being in the crate. he cries non stop (and is very loud too for being so tiny) he doenst get along with my dogs and her two dogs doenst want anything to do with it either really although her dogs are at least nice to him mine are not. all he wants to do is play or sleep (but he will only sleep if you hold him which is not something I want him to get used to. he needs to sleep in his crate which I need to get him used to).

Well, hopefully they'll grow to like him. You have to hold him so he can fall asleep?

yeah he misses his mother and just needs something/someone to snuggle up to. he has separation anxiety issues. as long as you hold him he is fine. he is only 9 weeks old. we are trying to break him of it. but it takes time.

my dog tried to attack him this morning so we have to keep my dog away from him at all times now. so this is going to be difficult. I think my dog thinks its a mole or a groundhog or something and wants to eat it. its not used to being around a tiny puppy. this is all new to all of us really. but either way we gotta keep them separated till my dog learns not to attack it.
