Yes. Today has been nice. It's around the temperature as at noon here earlier. It's just unusual having to prepare myself for temperatures up to 44 degrees Celsius/112 degrees Fahrenheit potentially. Are you staying home or have to to go out in the heat? I have libraries to visit on Friday ad that's the final "decent" day heatwise to go out & about around Portland before our weather becomes perhaps dangerous yo be in.

I have a dentist appt on Monday in the morning but other than that I am starting home in the a/c. its going to be in the high 90s all next week with potential thunderstorms as well. I dont like going out in bad weather

Yes. Hope that went well. It's been survival mode here with this heat that we had in the past 72 hours. 90 degrees Fahrenheit/32 degrees Celsius is reasonable I think to deal with. 110 & beyond is ridiculous & supposedly we had "once in a lifetime" heat here in Oregon, & up in Washington, & British Columbia. I would not be surprised if this happens again here in the next 5 years though. We had also a "once in a lifetime" ice storm in February herer. That was worse I think than this due to having no electricity & it was far tougher to stay warm than it is cool I think. Anyway, enjoy your week.

everything went well at the dentist. said I have dry mouth from either my horrible sinuses or from the migraine medication I take. so they gave me some Biotene to help with that. they said the dry mouth was starting to cause some issues but the biotine would help with it before it turns into an issue.

Thanks. It's cooler here thankfully. Fillings are tough because even under anesthesia it was painful for me. Then there was the numbness afterwards. Ugh.

It's 70 degrees Fahrenheit/21 degrees Celsius at 12:16 A.M. here. That's not bad considering the heat lately.

it reached 100F today. and boy was it hot.
I met up with some old friends that was visiting from ATL that I havent seen in a few years. they were doing great.

I have fireworks from last year to light off. I probably will stay home on Sunday. There will be fireworks shows around though. The Blues Festival begins tomorrow/Friday in Portland.
