Well it was different between his return and then him in the majority of s1.
Whereas in this season he was already outed as a villain, so he could freely do whatever he wanted and no one would've been surprised.

⇾ Michael or Justin as Jimmy Olsen: Justin. But I did really like Michael.

⇾ Favorite Rivalry: I guess Lois vs Mayson. I've no idea.
⇾ Story that had potential but was dropped suddenly? Jimmy/Sarah kinda had potential

I just couldn't stand him tbh. I was wondering when he'd disappear. But overall this season was good.

I loved season 2, although I did miss Cat Grant. She was fun. I wish they could've brought her back.

I think they kinda did like a soft reboot from s2 onwards. It was almost like s1 was a vague memory that may or may not have existed. Seeing as they recast people (not only Jimmy but others as well).
Not only that too, but there was some other sort of differences.

Though I do agree this season was kinda fun. I mean there was some really nice parts in this. I think I'll always have Season's Greedings as my favorite episode in this season. I praise Dean for writing it, because it was just great. I could not stop laughing when people were under the influence of the space rats.

^ I agree... I didn't really understand the soft reboot as well because season 1 was pretty good.

I guess things just changed. Recasting and I think a few other things.
Still, this season turned out good as well

So I'm not too worried about it. I would've liked a few things to still have been in this season (plus other seasons), but I ended up just liking it anyway.

I agree, I didn't like the soft reboot, pretending that certain events in season 1 never happened.

I mean, they obviously couldn't do that with everything, like Lex's storyline or Clark's backstory. I just thought it wasn't necessary because there was rally nothing wrong with season 1. It was the best season.

And of course, I missed drooling over Tracy Scoggins.

It was kinda something to get used to with Justin coming into the show. But I didn't mind his portrayal of the character. He was good.

There was some tension and struggles in this season too. But overall, it wasn't bad.
