I'm picky when it comes to fanfic. The only one I'm still keeping up with is Perfect, the sequel to Maybe. I love how in character they are that Blair's still a snob

I think some writers finding it difficult to make the DB relationship come across realistically without making Blair or Dan change too much.

I'm one of the very few people who preferred DB in season 1-3. I loved the idea of them being attracted to each first before they got to know each other and were still in the 'hate' phase. I liked the chemistry and writing more earlier on. I liked that they became friends first but I think there were plenty of opportunities to explore them earlier. And season 6 ruins DB because the friendship turned relationship was disregarded to the point of a bad phase that Blair went through so it was pointless. if they had started with animosity then season 6 would have made more sense.

Imagine if they had kissed here
