I was looking for the quote that they used to advertise ER when it started, the one that says "these are the faces you'll want to see", does anyone know the whole quote? It's in the season 1 extras, but of course my DVDs are not here

I guess the purpose, though, is to make you so happy that you just forget about whatever pain or disease you have. And they're so pretty you just wanna get better and better to be that pretty too, so you let the doctors work and get those wounds fixed as soon as possible. It's all about encouragement for you to work on getting better

But you're right. I remember some veteran British actress was asked if she thought it was unhealthy to show conventionally good-looking people on TV so much. I loved her answer: "There is nothing more satisfying than seeing really painful things happen to REALLY attractive people".
