I haven’t played the Game or read the books but I hope we’ll get more Jaskier than in both of them

He seems like a more layered character in the show too. I hope he gets his own story

a bit like in the books maybe?

But it would be really sad to lose a character like Jaskier

I don't think we'll lose him completely, but more characters has got to mean less screentime

Yeah, I agree that they shouldn't add too many new characters and try to focus on the ones we already know. There are a lot that could still be explored

And I agree, Jaskier has got to have more layers and ways for character development, also the friendship that he and Geralt have formed
