it was good catching up with friend and family, a bit of sightseeing. i'm taking a few days off next week for my bday. no plans really. spend too much during my vacation in September.

work has been busy not a lot of training, i feel bad for slowing down the group. anyway argh just a mess.

yeah just going out a bit and will be a quiet bday. next year will a milestone bday, i hope to travel hopefully with friends.

how's everyone's weekend? i was out with my bestie. i finally tried that famous stuffed croissant place in town. i made a mess when a yellowjacket was around focusing on my food.

That would be awesome if you get too!! I will always regret not being able to celebrate turning 30. It was 1 month after lockdowns started for Covid… so never got to celebrate it. Guess next big one will be 40.

Ooh that sounds yummy! What kind of croissants did you get? You mentioned yellowjackets being focused on your food, interestingly I was out at lunch with my cousin who came to town, and the ENTIRE meal bees wouldn’t stop swarming around our table and food. Had me so on edge!

sucks big time birthday during lockdown.

i had one of those fancy round shape croissant. it was stuffed with maple cream it was not overly sweet. yellowjackets are overexcited with the colder weather, less food available to them.

it was a quiet bday. i went to visit a garden and read a book at the library.

Visiting a garden and reading a good book, sounds like a good day to me!! Reading a good book is one of my favorite things to do.

sad reality is i rarely take the time to just sit down and read. there's always so much to do. *looks at her unread books*
