I am going inter-state the weekend and I have to go to bed now, so won't get too many posts in this time around (not that I ever post much on the weekends these days, but I just wanted to gloat ).

Well I'm back and in one piece (just). As for 'inter-state' you Yanks should understand that, 'cause you have states too. It means travelling from one state to another, in this case from New South Wales to Queensland. You got me?

Here in the U.S. we do use the term inter-state but usually only to refer to the national super-highway system (i.e.' I'm travelling interstate 94' ) and to a few governmental agencies such as the Inter-State Commerce Commision, but when we mean that we are traveling from one state to another, one usually says "out-of-state" or more frequently, just names the state. (When you have 50 of 'em to choose from that just makes more sense.)

Explaination We have been asked by the technical managers not to delete posts unless absolutely necessary because it screws up post-counts and other mysterious computeresque-thingys so I do not delete accidental double-posts (except my own). Now don't get any ideas because if anyone starts "accidentally" double-posting to increase post counts for themselves or the board, I will consider that reason enough to start deleting -- computers be damned!

Guyz -- it's getting to be crunch-time here at my condo. I am literally up-to-my-ears in boxes with more to pack and few places to put any more boxes. The movers are coming Tuesday the 25th and everything has to be ready-to-roll then. I get the keys to my new place day-after-tomorrow (Saturday) and I'll start moving-in smaller things right away -- So-o-o-o-o-o-o I'm likely to be kind of scarce for the next few days. My cable/internet is not being hooked-up at the new place until Wed the 26th so I'll probably be completely off-line from Monday night until Wednesday evening. I'll pop-in whenever I need a break from packing for the next few days whenever I can.

Be nice to each other, take care of the place and clean-up after yourself! See you soon!

Well, I'm into the new apartment -- mostly. The movers showed up on-time at 8:30 yesterday and unloaded the last bit around 4:00pm. The cable-guy showed-up on time today and got my TV, phone, and broadband all operating without too much fuss. It all went as smoothly as could be expected. I'm totally exhausted and woke up about 4am this morning with a rotten miserable cold. I'm taking a strong cold medicine to get me thru the work I have to do yet to be out of the old place by the end of the month so if I seem spacier than usual, that's probably the reason -- that and creeping insanity

I still have to go back to the old place and move a few leftovers and do general clean-up. I'll pop-in now and again and try to do a couple of posts here and there.
