Didn't he mention a boyfriend in 2x15? With Tom being gay. Tom and Zanzi will remain just best friends and I love that. We know they won't be involved in some tired love triangle that can ruin their friendship.

Yeah, but don't forget the show takes place at least two-three years in future of ND Season 3's ending. I doubt he's with the same guy.

I forgot about the timeline that fast. I don't understand these people. Tom Swift is not a freaking prequel. It's a spin off. And ND should not spent three seasons in 2019!

The point is it makes sense for a prequel to have a totally different timeline from the main show. But TS is not that. Spin-offs usually always share the same timeline unless it's a prequel.
