Not sure about Kung Fu's episode order since it's starting in the fall now.

Dear, Kung Fu showrunners. I don't watch you. My parents do. Hell, they even watched the original series and the sequel. Try to keep the episode count at 13. Unless they are going to add no more than two more episodes? Stargirl's third season is 13 episodes because it too is usually a summer show. The season was completed on March 17th.

I would love to see Nace on the beach but this series will never ever show summer. The time line would reverse itself back to 2019 before that happens.

I don't think the KF showrunners have any say over their episode order. I think that's all on The CW tbh

I tried to write a fic of them with Ace as a lifeguard after the episode where he mentioned that he was one! It got put on the backburner when I got busy with other stuff though. I should try to resurrect it.

Showrunners and networks have actually fought over episode counts. When a series in development a creator can say, "Well, I believe this series will work best with x amount of episodes." Of course the network will have the final say but a series is always ruin when the network goes against the showrunners when it comes to episode counts. But thinking about it. KF is another show that debuted during the pandemic and was a summer show for two seasons, so I doubt the creators went in asking for 13 episode seasons. Big names also have it in their contracts that they're only available for x amount of episodes a season when dealing with broadcast networks. Yes to Nace in the summer time fanfic.

Kung Fu was a spring-summer show so it was always going to get 13 episodes. They picked it up for the Fall and now its not certain how many episodes they will get for S3. It all depends.

I also have not heard a start date for them either...but I imagine it will have to be soon.

Yeah...but there's speculation that they're not in the same universe or something. I could see the writers thinking they were so clever with that "twist".

That trash will have 139 episodes when it's over! That's if S7 has 22 episodes. The only Archie show I claim is "Archie's Weird Mysteries(1999)"
