I'm guessing it's from pretty early on, but I can't say for sure. I know it's hard to judge based on a 10 second clip or a random picture, but I'm not exactly thrilled about some of the implications. We'll see though. Maybe that's just my television PTSD talking.

Yeah that's great we can see the whole group together. That's not really my concern. It's the fact that my very, very low expectations don't seem to be matching up to what the writers want, so Again, hard to tell from a 10 second clip and a random BTS picture...but I'm honestly not feeling it.

I don't like how Ace is shoved in the back in an almost comic-type way, while everyone else is doing something serious. I also don't like how that one BTS picture with Nancy's car implies Nick/Nancy scenes. George and Nick JUST got together and he's running off with Nancy? Not a great sign. I'm not naive to think they would never have scenes again, but they really eased off the N/N scenes after 1x13. I thought he would have been spending all his time with George, not hanging with his ex for whatever reason.

And if they're trying to ruin Ace's character already and/or shove N/N 2.0 in my face, I will be extremely disappointed. At the very least, I thought they would treat Ace better and let Nancy be single for a while without having her whining over Nick (who she treated like crap and did not trust).

If they really are going to do some stupid love triangle with Nick, Nancy, and George, then I wish they never would have given Ace/Nancy so many scenes at the end of Season 1. That way...Ace/Nancy could have remained a crack-ship and I wouldn't be giving this show a second thought. Because if that's their plan...they don't deserve it.

And unfortunately, I've seen too many shows ruin any kind of potential they've had simply because the writers are incapable of logical storytelling and capitalizing on actual chemistry.

We'll see though. I'm not very optimistic because The CW is a hotbed of disappointment.

see i get that and tbh for most part the bad thing is this show is on the CW so they will annoy us quite a bit regardless of any relationship.

I for one dont mind nick helping out nancy , cause we all know there is no romantic feelings between the two and if it has to do with life and death situations i would like her to have any of them near her . Saying that i am surprised to have it but i dont mind it like i dont want them being in a relationship mean they can't be or hang with other people to .

Ace thing it depands on what they are doing with his character i dont see him as the comedic character but i do hope they dont push him aside either . i dont feel n/a will be this season but i dont want to lose the firendship either.

Atm season two will be a hit and miss ( most likely a miss ) i just hope they dont change it to drastically from season one

Ehhhhh....we might think that...but the writers might not. Friendship is okay...but they need to make it clear that it is friendship only. Otherwise, I will have a problem since there are WAY better options that the writers themselves have created! Also, George deserves better than that.


Nothing should really happen with them until the end of the season anyway, but they need to keep up their friendship scenes. Otherwise, they are making a big, big mistake. They are one of the ONLY aspects people talk about (and that I've seen people are excited about).

But first...Nancy has way too much soul-searching to do and Ace's character needs to be explored more. That's why I said slow-burn them throughout Season 2 (because with all those scenes at the end of Season 1...they were CLEARLY setting something up...that's just shipping 101). But if they are going to do them...something def needs to happen by the end of the season going into a potential Season 3. And they need something (well a few somethings) to make sure there is one.

Remember...this is The CW. It thrives on shipping. Period. And this show right now is without a main ship. Nick/George are super cute, but they are a beta couple. They need something for people to root for...and I'm just afraid they are going to try make Nancy and George fight over Nick...for SOME REASON (maybe something silly like reasserting Nick as the male lead or something?? IDK). But like I said...we'll see.

If they try to ruin Ace's character, I will ALSO be upset. He's such a fan favorite and they need to do right by him. Not treat him like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.

Petra, I had no clue you were that disillusioned with the show already. I see the rest of the CW shows have done a number on you as well!

lol alot of cw shows and most shows season 2 usually falls flat on what season one was and i dont have high hopes cause they either change it 100% different to season one like make ir darker or change it completely and it can work or it will kill the show.

i agree it is all up to the writers to see who gets together or not but yes George deserves way better and i hope they treat her right this season she deserves to be loved and be happy .

My thing for Nancy will be no romance well at least not for the first half of the seasons he has had so much bad luck with it and it just so hard to see her hurt so much , plus she has the whole daddy's issues to deal with first . I prefer her work on those for both dads

Ace needs more screen time i dont want him pushed to the side for sure , and i will be happy if they build up the romance in season 2 and get well hopefully get together for season 3

You're right about Season 2. It's really hard for any show to get Season 2 right, especially on The CW.

And I totally agree. Nancy needs to be single and focusing on herself and her daddy issues. That's why I like a Season 2 slow-burn Ace/Nancy relationship. Like an undercurrent. And I could actually see her saying she's swearing off romance for the foreseeable future because she's had such bad luck.

Ace is the best and deserves loads of meaningful screentime.

They were on such a roll the last few episode of season 1 I really hope they don't regress! I hope they handle Ace and Nancy well and give Ace good screentime! If they don't we have the board for ranting and can write fix it fics

And yes, they were on such a roll last season and then they had to cut the season short cause of the pandemic. And we still don't know if we're going to see the original last four episodes or some truncated version of them. I really, really hope they don't screw it up...but I don't have much faith that they won't.
