I did love this about Bess! She was the little sunshine in the Drew Crew.

I do like how they didn't "bury their gays" and how Bess and Addy had a nice little (if rushed) ending.

I'm glad they didn't use the bury the gay trope in this case.

At least Bess/Addy were previously established and not some random relationship. And thank goodness there was no "bury your gays" on this show (of course they heavily utilized other crappy tropes...but that's a whole other discussion

)

they were anti-poc in general and anti-romance but atleast they didn't bury the gays right.
