Me either. Usually there will be something to define a character or a relationship...but I just don't know if there's enough yet for them.

Yeah we haven't seen a ton of them yet. Maybe we'll get something next season as we see more of them.

I feel like would only give them appropriate focus if they promote Rachel Colwell to a series regular and IDK if the show will do that. Unlike other shows, it's basically been The Drew Crew and the two dads. Yes, I know Karen was a regular in Season 1...but...that was the last time any other character outside of the main group was one.

That's interesting that Karen was around that much! I don't really remember her being in that many episodes but maybe I just blocked it out :lol: But yeah even the Bobbseys (as much as they tried to force them) weren't regulars and they seem pretty stuck with their core.

I didn't even realize Karen was supposed to be a regular character until way later. I'm guessing they might have had a different plan for her eventually? Because the last time you saw her was 1x16...and Season 1 was originally 22 episodes before the pandemic broke the season up.

RE: The Bobbseys. I know they make a big deal about them, but I don't think they were meant to be anything other than a one season thing. Although honestly I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Gil again.

Addy is a little different because she has interacted with multiple characters in a meaningful way and does seem to be a more natural fit who accepts what's going on with the supernatural...but again...who knows. When someone stays a guest star, you run the risk of losing them to other projects. That would really suck if they lost Bess's best love interest to a technicality.

That's true. Maybe before the pandemic they had a different plan for Karen and she was supposed to be around a bit more. I don't think we'll see more of the Bobbseys either (maybe Gil if they really want to torture Nancy :lol:)

Addy does seems like more of a natural fit. She worked really well with Nick and she was a really good fit with the friend group. Yeah I get why the actors would want to do something else (especially a bigger role) but I hope they don't lose Addy.

I mean imagine if Rachel Colwell got a series regular gig ala RJ and they had to break them up off-screen or just send her away for the whole season? That would just suck.

My only real criticism with their relationship was the pacing. They went SOOO fast. Their relationship should have been more of a slow-burn.

Yeah Bess and Addy are so good together. An off screen breakup or Addy just being gone would be really sad.

Yeah they did move pretty fast though. Though that was kind of the theme of the season.

I agree. I really like her. But the question is...would they actually make her a regular? They've never actually promoted anyone to a series regular before...

That's true! Which is too bad. It'd be kind of cool if she was a more integral part of the storyline next season. I guess it depends on what they do with her.
