And to think a few months ago Sony was dumb enough to think they could do a Spiderman 3 that had nothing to do with the MCU after that HUGE cliffhanger and having Peter and Spiderman's whole story built on THEIR foundation. That was a disaster waiting to happen.

I did like the original SR Spiderman trilogy, this and the MCU Spiderman films are way better than the two Amazing Spiderman films were, that's for sure. The main thing I liked about TASM films were Peter and Gwen (I liked them better than Peter/MJ in the SR films *pukes*) but now nothing can compare to the MCU's Peter/Michelle for me.
