I hope she doesn't turn into a drug addict like her sister, she was getting high a little last season. Also, with Rue's second overdose I hope she doesn't use that to cope. If they go there, it could be an interesting storyline though. I'm just ready for S2!

yeah that fight with their mom was really bad in ep8 and if Rue can't protect her she might choose the wrong path again

If Gia turned to drugs like Rue, I can't imagine how much that would destroy their mother. Rue being an addict messed her up too then for it to happen to both of her daughters? Yikes.
