Jen what year dose the ‘Water for Elephants’ movie take place like in the i920's-30's ?

to me that makes the movie cooler I like story's that take place long age.

I have returned the book so I can't check atm, but it was around the Great Depression. The book is meant as some kind of memoir of the man, who is now really old, and remembers those days...but dunno if the movie is also done that way...

well, the book does and the movie is staying really close to the book. The parts with the old guy (=Rob's character's older self) is sort of like an intro/narrator, th majority of the plot is in the 30s. Sort of like The Notebook was done, actually.
Oh and apparently it absolutely amazing working with the elephant

Tai (the elephant that plays the character Rosie) is awesome & it was cool at the press junket

there are pics of her picking up a reporter in her mouth

Thanks for the ACMA pic, that was a fun moment - Reese missed her mark on stage, Rob attempted a southern accent to general hilarity

Agh, I need to scour YT for katie's appearance. Why do we not know this stuff beforehand? Tho it makes little difference to me, but I might've tried to watch a live stream.

Sorry for not being around yesterday! Friday was hectic cuz I had six hours of classes and then a formal dinner/dance at night. Formal was fun! I'm a really shy person so I'm not into dancing but my friends got me to dance and it was so much fun

it's nice to live the social life of college and take a break from the stressful academic side! Plus it's always fun to dress up

Dora I just noticed I had a Private Message from you Thanks for the links to the Kennedy's miniseries.

But being the Katie freak that I am I already down loaded the first 6 parts and watched them Friday night. I did kinda skip some of the non Katie parts but I thought Katie did really good as Jackie Kennedy she totally nailed it and the stupid reviews that say katie's accent sucks should watch this video.

Katie sounds just like that and that video proves that Jackie Kennedy has a very weird accent so if anything Katie did the impossible by getting that accent down.
