ok, so i just watched Danny Roane: First Time Director. i have to say i was very disappointed. i didn't find the movie funny at all. just a piece of horrible and immature writing. i'm kinda upset that james even took this role. i was kinda embarrassed that he was playing such an immature character (or well, the character of his character was immature...idk...he played himself acting and that character had some issue w/his butt...yeah. weird.) he deserves more and his acting abilities were 100 times better than everyone else that was in this movie. the sad thing is, this movie didn't give him the opportunity to show his acting abilities. the only thing i liked was james' expressions. we all know how good he is w/that
i hate posting such a negative post but i was really disappointed. all i can say is that he deserves better roles than that and idk why he took that role in the first place. maybe hes friends w/andy dick

so unfortunately i give this movie zero out of five stars this is the first time that i didn't like something that james was in.

i'm looking forward to seeing him in ugly betty....that character should do him some justice

I saw only 10 minutes of it at 2 in the morning and James looked totally confused as to why his character would bleed from his butt. His expressions cracked me up.

yeah, like i said, his expressions were the best i didn't like the bleeding from the butt thing....that was really weird. i was surprised by how much screen time james had! it was a lot more than i expected!! ben stiller only got like a cameo but james had a much bigger role. even in such a crappy movie as that, james was great. he portrays all of his character perfectly...there's so many sides of him and he shows it through all of his roles. hes believable in each. for example, dawson vs. tobias vs. sean. he changes so well to meet each character....thats a good actor. he really is talented
