It was great to see Michael have fun for once. It's been a lot of angst up until now.
I enjoyed seeing him socialise with people, instead of drinking alone, I loved his relationship with Liz where it's clear they've become friends, and even mutual flirtation and no-strings-attached hook up with Maria were good things, in my mind. Michael has been pretty isolated for a long time, he lives in a trailer in a scrap yard, he only had Max and Isobel for friends and his relationship with Max was pretty fractured. Before this episode we've seen him drowning his sorrows alone in the Wild Pony or alone at his trailer. This time he hung out with friends, danced, had a fun, drama free encounter with a cute girl. All in all, it was a healthier way of dealing with being dumped than we could have expected from Michael __________________

I just saw now on twitter a gifs set from the last episode, the different beautifuly smiles he have
 yes he smile a lot to Maria, cute little ones but the last smile, when Alex told him he want to start over, be friends, at this moment he have this huge smile with all his teeth. Definitively not the same smile  __________________
