I saw that. Wasn't impressed.

Mako sharks don't eat like that. Their teeth aren't used for chewing or slicing. The teeth act more like hooks to trap fast moving prey like small fish. I'm sure the movie used them because their teeth look scary, but they're nowhere near as dangerous as Tiger Sharks and Great White Sharks.

But their teeth were still the same. You need serrated teeth to do what they did. Tigers have razor sharp edges to their teeth and Great Whites have serrated edges for sawing. Mako sharks' teeth are for puncturing, not slicing.

Man, when I was a teen I used to spend Spring and Summer doing marathon watches of Jaws, The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, Alien, Aliens, and Raiders of The Lost Ark. Summer movies back in the 80s just meant more, you know?

I only like Jaws, none of the others. The shark in Jaws was total fantasy. Sharks don't do what that one did. Jumping onto a freaking boat?

I believe there was an incidence videoed a few years back when that happened.

Not a Great White, though. And not like it happened in the movie where it sank the damn boat. Great Whites in the Indian Ocean are known for leaping into the air when they hunt seals.
