Question - what format is the best? I've heard png and jpg from different people. Also I"m just gonna post a link to my new icon journal, I put my newest batches on there!

When you're saving an icon, don't you have a preview of what it will look like?
If not, check your preferences to see if you can view a preview, because the graininess does change depending on what type you save it, jpeg, gif etc.. |

If your in Photoshop maybe your not saving them at maximum quality, I'll post a screen dump:
 See it should be at maximum, if it's not that then I'm not sure, maybe try them as a PNG  __________________
