Fan Art Scavenger Hunt 2018: The list is up!
 
:wave: Hi guys!
Paula and I have decided to do a Scavenger Hunt Fan Art style. We think it will be fun, so hopefully you'll think so too and join us.
We'll ask for Custom Titles as a reward for those that sign up and complete the Scavenger Hunt :)


Info:
  • The Scavenger Hunt will happen in phases: Phase 1 will be sign up and sending prompts to us; Phase 2 will be filling up/completing the prompts.
  • After sign ups are done we'll post a master list with all prompts and then the fun can really begin as you can get to make/find them.
  • You won't have to complete the whole list, instead points are awarded for the prompts.
  • You can make the fan art of your choice (icons, banners, wallpapers, gifsets, fan videos...) unless otherwise stated in the prompt.
  • All arts avatars must be 100px by 100px and less than 39.1 KB to fit :ff: icons sizes. No animations allowed.
  • Banners/Wallpapers should be posted as thumbnails no wider than 800px with the link to the original image, or with just the link. (Your post will be edited by a mod if this is not complied)
  • There won't be a voting.
  • All arts posted that you haven't made (the "find something" prompts) need to have credits.
  • Once you complete the points, PM Si with your Custom Title choice.

Rules:
  • When signing up you need to send Si at least 10 prompts (you can send up more if you want) for the Scavenger Hunt list:
    • 5 prompts of finding something (i.e. Find an icon of character A from TV Show B)
    • 5 prompts of make something (i.e. Make an icon of character C from TV Show D)
  • Prompts of arts that were found will be posted behind spoiler tags, and prompts of your own creation can be posted without them. (All arts to be considered creations must be done specific for this, so if you have an art made previously that fits a prompt it will be categorized as a "find" item.)
  • Point system: 1 point for every prompt you find ; 5 points for every prompt you make
  • To complete the Scavenger Hunt you'll have to reach 100 points

Schedule:
June 1st-15th - Sign up and send at least 10 prompt (5 find / 5 make).
June 18 - The Scavenger Hunt master list will be posted.
June 18 - July 30 - Time to fill in the prompts and to send in your custom title
August 1st - Custom Titles

This sounds fun and little confusing at first read but I think I get the gist.

The only issue for me is I will be heading out to go camping mid to end of July, so how would I participate fully?

It says they will all be posted on the 18th. You then pick what you want to do to make up the 100 points

EDIT: So if you only receive say 50 prompts, can we complete one prompt more than once?

So to clarify when signing up we send 10 prompts with our suggestions of what people have to make? And the find ones are from art we have made before? Would that be hard as the prompts will be quite specific?

Okay, so all the prompts will be posted in the same day, so you can make them and post your arts at any time from June 18 till July 25.

Paula and I will make sure that there are enough prompts to surpass 100 points, that way you guys will have choices :) We're asking for everybody to sign up because the more prompts the merry :D Also, you guys can come up with interesting new prompts (easy and hard) :D

The prompts are suggestions of what people should make, like a theme or a specific something (i.e. a character using a yellow hat or holding a glass of wine, or whatever you want). For arts to find, it doesn't have to be something you've made, just get people to search for them (like find a wallpaper featuring a child, or find an icon that has negative space, a gifset with large text...)

Well two weeks is plenty of time to decide too! Gives everyone a good window to decide and come up with a great list of prompts!

Yeah, we wanted to give it a good amount of time to sign up as well as get things done, to encourage people to join us :D
