Yep I loved her she was mixed with everyone else from the 80s/90s music that I love..although what she went through in her personal life I really didn't know about until years later.

It's so sad that things got so hard for her later in life. Really wished she could have surpassed that, but she will always be remembered for iconic voice and discography of music!

Yeah me too and what's worse is the drugs weren't all her fault she didn't get there on her own. She couldn't help it. She had it really rough and I just wish people would have some compassion and not blaming her for her addiction and her death.

Yes she wasn't called "The Voice" for nothing.

True but her own brother Michael was the one who introduced her to the cocaine both of them are/were heavy drug users as well, still are at least one of them is I believe. Her brothers are despicable and disgusting to do something like that to their own sister!

True. But at the same time, she made the choice to take the drugs when she could have said no. So shame on them for supplying or enabling it but she could have said no.

True and I'm not calling her saint, but I can't really blame her either at same time. She's been surrounded by drugs her whole life it seems and it was just a matter of time I think and with the traumas she had it's no wonder she was on drugs. Besides she didn't become an addict until years later.

With a status like hers too it was easily accessible. I know she did try to quit a few times but then fell off the wagon so to speak, so it's not like she didn't try, she just couldn't completely get away.

Yep and with the abuse she took and now with what I learned about her being sexually abuse she needed help and years of therapy. I've read that whenever she tried to quit Bobby would always sabotage her recovery he did this a few times during their marriage so you know he didn't want her to get better he wanted her drugged up so he could continue beating her up and controlling her so that's wasn't her fault either, no man has the right to do that to someone they supposedly loved and had a child with.
