I remember in years past during festival season Mamamoo would get sick, injured, or in minor car accidents because they had to rush to get from one festival to the next. It's amazing their label hasn't learned from past mistakes. But there's money to be made and yada yada.

What annoys me most about the whole health issue this time however is not RBW, but the fact that there's a portion of the fandom using it as an excuse to complain about how Mamamoo is "too big" to perform at these festivals anyway and should finally do a world tour (something doesn't add up in this argument, but logic means nothing to these folks). They keep spamming official posts demanding a world tour and keep commenting on how the members finally need to learn English and keep insulting fans who (in their opinion) want to "keep Mamamoo small" by focusing on Asia first I didn't know having a Twitter account comes with a masters degree in k-pop management...

Anyway, they have some time off now til the 22nd and as long as they have fun...:

Too big for festivals? They are like the queens of festivals. This is their bread and butter. They helped make a name for themselves by performing at places like this because they know so well how to work a crowd. It's not silly for them to go where they are in demand (maybe not quite so many shows, but yeah). I know there is this obsession now for groups to try to tap into the western market because some groups have been able to do so, but it's not the be all end all of a kpop star's career. If they want to try to do it then great! If they try to stick to Asia for now and grow more there then great! The biggest thing is that they aren't being mistreated, and continue to put out music, and get gigs.

My thoughts exactly I guess it's futile to explain and argue about this with them (a lot of fans have tried) since
a) it's the internet/Twitter, so decent, somewhat logical debate is next to impossible and
b) the fandom is so divided on some of these issues (festivals, RBW, solo activities...) that you'll just never get to any kind of understanding or agreement
You're definitely right These fans don't seem to get that sadly and are completely in denial that longevity even if it might be on a smaller scale than what they dream of might just be the better and more realistic outcome for Mamamoo. Don't get me started on their hate of RBW - it's just so dumb - as I said, they really think they know better what is good or bad for Mamamoo than Mamamoo themselves
