It's never ok, the way it came out is fishy of course. But that's something that can't be condoned. He was in the wrong, and they had everynight too fire him. I bet this will be hard for the cast members. I just got too reading about his tweets, and I'm completely irked.

I have no idea if he can be brought back . I’ll assume that head of Disney movies and Marvel
will have a meeting with the main cast .Seems the best way to discuss the future of the franchise and new director or rehiring James .

I look at it as these actors worked closely with James Gunn for 2 huge movies . They know him pretty well . Again this should be settled with a in Person meeting with cast producers head of studios . Why let it drag on in social media.

Well, I knew they wouldn't rehire him but I'm glad the GOTG cast supported him. I don't know who thought that meant the cast wouldn't do GOTG 3. Their under contract and have no choice so duh lol. In general, this still sucks though (especially when Disney already knew about this when they hired him so it makes them look hypocritical) Marvel hires great directors but I hope they can keep the same feel in GOTG 3.
