Oh man, I have live in NYC all my life, but I have heard some people that I know and I have friends who saying that, but I was like..

The people who are the loudest about struggling usually aren't really struggling. When I was struggling four years ago, I kept that to myself and only my sister, bff knew.

I guess they want to sound modest? but it doesn’t come out that way, at all. It is annoying to to say the least.

Same here.. Only my own family and my best friend, that was it, but I don't share it w/ everyone.. Bec like you said, when it comes to person who "struggle" always tell everyone meaning they they just want pity or get something out of them..

In her defense she did have a bad relationship with the dad and I think she was trying to ask him for to much and his new wife had an issue with it

I do tell people when I am struggling on days they want to go out and I can't afford it
