About saying he is too young / Mrs. Wheeler is a married woman: Billie is one of the ANTAGONISTIC characters in the show! Therefore, he does not have to abide by these rules of decency. Without an adversary presence, there would be hardly ever any drama or plot in the show. And I know you want to say that is not true because there are the monsters in the upside down, but the show creator made it clear that he also wants to have human enemies for our main characters, not just monsters.

As for the "cheating is wrong" thing, Mrs. Wheeler is clearly dissatisfied in her marriage, Nancy mentioned that she married her father not out of love but more out of practicality, as a young woman she married an older man and now it's her turn to get some young meat.

At the end of the day you don't have to be on a moral high horse when watching television/streaming netflix. It's just entertainment.

and I totally understand that Karen doesn't wanna be with her crappy husband anymore, it's perfectly fine, but you don't have to commit a crime if you wanna leave him, just find someone else who A) never tried to murder your children and his friends and B) is of age

About the "dont need to commit crime things": this is the 80's, divorces are not as common yet and she obviously doesn't want to break up her family while her son is still so young.
