I just felt like the Ben romance came out of nowhere. I dont get it. The finale kiss LITERALLY came out of thin air. I would have preferred if they just became friends this season and then maybe next year the romance could have come into play.

Well to be fair, he's 29 not 30 lol. There have been actors on shows with just as big of age gaps, and she's 18 so to me, its not that weird. I never care about age gaps in real life anyways because its acting. Its part of their job to play a part and the kiss was very chaste. Regardless, shes 18 like i said.

Navid and Teddy were in their 30's playing teens on 90210. I am sure there are many more examples lol.

well the article I had read about their ages said he was 30. apparently they must have been wrong. regardless he is still to old for her.

but I do agree that the relationship with ben was way too rushed. they should have just remained friends this season. and he needs to dump his current girlfriend before pursuing anything with Devi

Do we have any word on a season 2 yet? Even if it does get a season 2, I don't see it happening anytime soon. Everything is shutdown.

I thought I read they wanted to visit India for a few episodes.

They also said they wanted people to genuinely root for both sides in the triangle and they dont know which one they like better. They dont want it to be favored too heavily on one side.

Except Paxton and Devi didnt go anywhere by seasons end, he went to her house but never saw her. Not to mention that her crush on him was in episode 1 and was made aware pretty early to him, so he knew about her. And they had been sharing "romantic" type scenes from the beginning. Where as with Ben, he was very clearly a rival to her and I didnt see any sort of romantic hinting until mid season. And it was only coming from Ben's end? He also has a g/f AND on top of that, she reacted his kiss badly and wasnt shown to have any feelings towards him at all? So i found the kiss in the finale COMPLETELY out of place. I dont see how you can say that Paxton's feelings were more out of nowhere. lol. We actually saw him struggle with it a few episodes. But Devi didnt have any hinting at all towards liking Ben? Unless I missed it.

So tired of triangles in every single damn shows. They do know you can have drama without that?

Devi will look so bad in s2 if she can't choose or goes one episode with Ben, the next with Paxton

I agree I hate love triangles. it that really necessary in these teen shows. there are lots of other ways to have drama

I think shell be with Ben in season 2, Paxton will be jealous. Something will happen and B/D will break it off, then Paxton will tell her how he feels, then shell be torn again for season 3. Seems the classic formula for these shows.
