Black Lightning General Discussion #1
I saw no one in this forum posted a thread like this last season. So I thought I would start one to talk about season 2 so far.
I'm liking it and I liked seeing what happened with the pods last episode. Anyways, with all the current and former (pod meta's) starting to appear; I'm wondering if this season is starting to resemble Flash season 1. Remember the first season of that? Also; I liked how Issa was able invited to dinner at the Pierces. After both Issa and Wendy appeared. I was starting to think of how all the meta's could wake up and head for Jefferson's house for help. Kind of like a calling and as such; Jefferson has to pull off a Bilbo Baggins kind of thing in serving dinner to them and figuring out what to do after that. I kept thinking of this during the whole episode and the Hobbit song; Chip the Glasses, Crack the Plates; during the episode, if the writers decided to go that route. What do you think? |

I guess we don't have a thread for the comics yet. I was reading a Black Lightning book that has issues from 1977 today & in it he gets charged with the murder of 100 member Joey Toledo. ''Inspector Henderson'' is no fan of Black Lightning. He said to Clark Kent: ''Who appointed this so-called superhero to the dual offices of judge and executioner Mr. Kent? Unlike Superman, he's not a legally deputized agent of the police department.''
 What on Earth? So an alien from a planet that I think no human can live on is a ''deputized agent'' in Freeland, but not the vigilante who happens to be black & without their city would likely be screwed. Geez.__________________

Well like I mentioned, they have been around a long time, but I understand if not everyone had heard of ''Black Lightning'' before this T.V. show came to be. Certainly growing up I didn't know of this character. I think that they worth reading especially if people can check out volumes from a local library. I'll try to pick out some solid pics before I do start a thread.. Thanks for your input.

 Sorry wasn't sure which was the best thread for this but just was wondering is there a season 2 DVD? Or news about if it will be released? Finally bought season 1 & watching it now, loving the show  __________________

no there isnt a season 2 dvd yet. not sure why there isnt any news on that yet.

That's a shame
 . Hopefully they are planning on doing it eventually. Strange that there is nothing yet. Guess I will just have to wait to see what happens next & hope one day I can find out   __________________
