It’s very mature. Guy crushes on girl. Realises she’s not into him, but still respects and cares for her. And she’s also there for him as a supportive friend.

Yes. And really helps by having twice as many female characters. Because that means m/f FRIENDSHIPS have to happen.

yes! and this is why we need more shows like this. especially more superhero shows with more m/f friendship and less m/f romance.

Agreed. FRIENDSHIPS are my #1 thing in television. Its what draws me in more than anything else.

Seriously. Entertainment people don't know what people ACTUALLY want from their shows.

Runaways already works so well. Six characters. 4/2 F/M ratio. One is a lesbian. One is bi. One is Chase's One True Love. One is Chase's lil' sis. This is good odds for ALL THE FRIENDSHIP.

And I do love that Chase was the first to see Karolina's powers. And the flying. It's a special connection. But none of it is romantic. ~~shhhhhh....the kiss wasn't remotely romantic.~~
