I heard that text thing was related to Amy. It was just a terribly edited moment because it didn't fit. But it's a flashback about Amy.

Hopefully we get a lot more backstory on who he is, why he's doing this, why he needed the parents, and what his plans are.

I want to know all of those things too Jackie. I feel like we almost need a whole episode based on Jonah because we have so many questions.

Hmm, terrible editing indeed. If it's about Amy, it probably should've been done earlier and not towards the end as we already know he's to blame for that.

On my rewatch, after I heard about that, I did notice that it had the "flashbacky" feel.

Now I'm trying to remember if it was from an interview/cast, someone about that scene. No. I think it was in a podcast review of the episode were they caught that.
